Acid victim return home.


MARANG - Effect of increasing healing burns, pain also continued to decline, " said Mohd Fazil Hanapi Idrus, 18, victim of acid at Padang Merchang, allowed to return after undergoing treatment at Sultanah Nur Zahirah Hospital, Kuala Terengganu.

Mohd Fazil Hanapi found at his home in the Kampung Baru Pulau Rusa, here, said he was released from the hospital after doctors found the burns on the face, right arm, body and legs are improving.

He said he was grateful to be able to go back to their families after the incidents of acid throwing on February 19 and it caused him and his friend, Shahrul Zaman Salim, 38, had to be rushed to HSNZ for treatment.

However, the former student of Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan(SMK) Seri Serating still waiting for the Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) result need to take medication regularly follow-up to avoid the effect of burns and suffered other complications.

During the incident on February 19, Mohd Fazil Hanapi and Shahrul Zaman who worked as a fisherman suffered burns to the face and body due to being splashed with acid in her sleep at a house in Kampung Padang Mercang here.

About the cause of the incident, Mohd Fazil Hanapi said, until now he still does not know the true motive of the incident and refused to point fingers find one of any party and hope the authorities can disassemble the motive of the event.

"I think the authorities let alone the complexity of solving it," he said, which also received a Chairman of the Development and Security Committee (JKKK) Merchang, Alias Idris, 54, with Wartawan Cabuk.

Meanwhile, his father, Idrus Mat Noh, 54, earlier told that his son should be treated for two months in HSNZ, Kuala Terengganu, however, can go home early after his application to leave the hospital earlier received.

"Apart from improving the burn situation, he also claimed a quiet stay in the ward, so the hospital does not prevent us to take him home ahead of time as determined before," he said.
